Whoa…who could have seen this coming? Kate Iltis has done it again her design for the TTPS East Austin Studio Tour books has been ranked #1, above the W hotel!! Thanks a bunch Kate we all love the books.

Well, EAST is wrapped up and it was a huge success!

We sold out of out first edition Texas Toast book and there are many folks with new photos gracing their walls at home.

Thanks to everyone with Big Medium/Bohm Studios for going the extra mile to make this year’s EAST a huge success.

And a huge thanks you to all who came out to the first annual Texas Toast Photo Show.

Keep you eyes on the blog for a coming BIG announcement.

East Austin Studio Tour (E.A.S.T.) is here again and Texas Toast Studios will open it’s doors for this amazing experience.

Slideluck Potshow Comes To Austin!!!

Gee wiz folks! Slideluck Potshow is cooking up a pretty neat little fandango over at Shangri La on East 6th and in perfect timing with the East Austin Studio Tour.

For those unfamiliar with SLPS, here’s the skinny. SLSP was cooked up in NYC to bring good home cooked vittles together (i.e. Potluck) with the craft of photography (i.e. Slideshow). Slideluck Potshow, pretty slick stuff folks!

Deadline for submissions is Nov. 14th, see the link below for submission info.

From the Slideluck site:

Slideluck Potshow is a forum for exposing artists, curators and editors to new work, while infusing the arts community with a non-commercial vitality and refreshing exchange.

Photojournalists, painters, designers, sculptors, fashion and fine art photographers all show their work alongside one another in a relaxed and spirited atmosphere. Presenters range from the very accomplished to those who have never shown work publicly before, but regardless of status, none is allotted more than five minutes for their slideshow. Past participants include; Elliott Erwitt, Chris Buck, Alec Soth, Martin Schoeller, Doug Menuez, Alex Majoli, Alistair Thain, Bruce Gilden, and Eugene Mirman.

*What*: A gathering of folks who bring home cooked food to a photography slideshow.
